Polyurea and some of its uses.

Polyurea is a type of elastomer that can be used in a wide range of applications. Typically Polyurea is used as a monolithic, seamless barrier coating. Whether that be for keeping things in or keeping things out.

The application of Polyurea onsite is the manufacturing process. The use of high pressure, heat and a two part mixing chamber creates an aerosol that dries quickly and can be sprayed over the top of itself in seconds until desired thickness is reached. Cure times vary but are usually within twenty-four hours.

Several variations of  polyurea are available to professionals off the shelf. These are formulas that cover many types of  projects. However, the Poly can be tailored to fit a specific job. If you need a certain amount of chemical resistance or food grade workspace for example. Suppliers can produce purpose built formulations to fit many coating needs.
